We are seeking a well-rounded individual to join our Accounting team as an AP Supervisor in our corporate office in Fresno, California.

ABOUT THE OPENING:

Within this role, the selected individual will be responsible for supervising accounting assistants/clerks, reviewing work, mentoring staff, overlooking the processing of invoices, check runs, working closely with vendors, reviewing spending and expenses, confirming coding and allocations. The candidate will also be responsible for job cost and inventory including reviewing and analyzing transaction activity and variances, working closely with other departments, month end closing and reporting, account reconciliations, and special projects. The position also has cross-functional support for other accounting functions such as AR, Payroll and GL. The environment is fast paced and our team is highly collaborative.

REQUIREMENTS:

To be considered for this outstanding role, you will have:

  • Have at least 4-5 years of solid general accounting experience including AP, AR, job cost, inventory, payroll and GL
  • Be comfortable with Excel, Access and other accounting packages
  • Have solid communication skills and a diligent attitude
  • Be able to bring new ideas to the accounting team
  • Supervisory experience is preferred.
